If you are costing by facility, then the CIC file will have costing
information, based on when was the last time you did a cost rollup.

CIC will NOT have the most recent information.
Once upon a time someone told me that when a rollup occurs, the OLD cost
goes to CIC but I not know for a fact that they were correct.

What's in IIM is "global" which can be totally bogus if you are costing by
facility ... what's there got there when people made various errors &
mistakes over the ages.

The transactions put cost into CMF.
ACP500 puts actual cost in there when PI's are paid for.
Shop order purge handles delayed simulated "rollup" when the shop orders are
completed closed & purged.

Hi all:

Does anyone have the Calculation of Actual Cost in BPCS. I am on
4.05 CD. It seems we have lots of parts where the actual cost is
different in IIM and CIC. Can anyone shed some light on this and
save me having to go through the Cost roll pgm step-by-step? Thanks
for any help provided.
