The only way to clone item type 6 is to enhance INV500 and copy the logic
for item type 6 and use you're your cloned item type.

Unfortunately there isn't a system parameter that you can set.

We have a need to have a second version of Item Type 6, to
accomplish a separate accounting step.

I see that we can copy type 6 to create a new type 7, but how do
we make the new type perform inventory transactions the same way as type
6? (As in create no balances).
