Jay,?? Take a look at the System Parameters for Order Entry also.

About 3 or 4 screens in you will see something like this.

Enter DATE1 Heading to Display????????????????????? Pricing??????????
Enter DATE2 Heading to Display????????????????????? Unused???????????

The help text talks about being used in COM

Two user-defined date fields are available for reference purposes in???
Configurable Order Management. Enter data to define the headings that??
display on the Order Entry and Order Inquiry header panels for these two
fields. If you do not make an entry, BPCS displays DATE1 and DATE2 as??
the field names.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
If you do not want these date field to appear on BPCS panels, delete???
both field values. Neither the blank heading nor the empty user-defined
date field displays.???????????????????????????????????????????????????

Subject: [BPCS-L] Changing Order Entry GUI Headings

BPCS List,

We are on BPCS 6.00.02, where customer orders are entered in GUI. The users
would like to change a couple of the headings for the date fields for customer
orders.

I was told that the column headings for in GUI come from literals in a message
file (SSAZ03) and if I change them there, they would be changed through out the
system. I found "Price Book Date" in only one place in SSAZ03 as message
L038356. I changed it to "Delivery Date". When I went into order entry, it still
had the original heading. "Price Book Date" was not in SSAZ01 or SSAZ02 either.

Do any of you know how to change the headings on the date fields in GUI order
entry? I would also like to change the description of the header dates. I didn't
see them ("Request:" and "Book:") in any of the message files either. Any ideas
would be appreciated.
