Depending on what level of operating system you have, Output Queues may
be backed up with a normal backup. Our current AS/400 is at V4R5 which
doesn't save output queues; we are planning to move to a new i5 at V5R4,
which does.

There are also 3rd party packages that will take spool files and put
them into a form that can be backed up.

If you want to do something simple yourself, you could determine the
audit trail report files you want to save and write something that will
monitor for them and do CPYSPLF to copy/add them into a database file in
a library that will be backed up. This may lose some of the print
formatting, so may be no good - depends how crucial it is to save the
reports and how much work/money you want to put into a solution.

Subject: [BPCS-L] Audit Trails

Hi All,

Does BPCS keep audit trails in a table? If not, how can I backup the
spool files of the users.
