I'm looking for suggestions where else to look. We closed a manufacturing facility a few months ago, and are no longer shipping from it, but the General Ledger is still getting sales and cost of sales data from it. We are 405 CD.

Searching Invoice files (SH SIL) for activity after the facility closed, I found a small number of billing adjustments that I am assuming were either keying errors or RETURNs where the staff did not realize the facility now doing the repairs ought to get the profit center credit, but most of what I have found so far is coming in daily GL Journal batches of "shipments from inventory" where it looks like transaction code "B" with some $ to the closed facility and some to the open ones. There are no corresponding "B" transactions in inventory history for the closed facility. The source code on the transactions to the dead facility is ORE/M which i notice is also in ORD300 for customer orders, but there are no open customer orders for the dead facility, and these General Ledger transactions keep coming.

I reverse engineered GLW to see where transactions could be coming from and found a couple thousand hits where some BPCS program touches some GJW logical. I need to shrink the places to look. We do not have AS/Set so data mining in ORD500 or ORD590 is not an option.

I have requested permission to purge the system of closed order records associated with the dead facility. All the ECH records for that facility are 'CZ' ended but when the facility went away, there were a ton of uncompleted customer orders. All customers using that facility as a default have been deleted. Active customers that used to have the dead facility as a default, have had their defaults changed to the facility now doing the work, but of course there are all kinds of history files out there, such as SSH SSD containing data on the dead facility.

My suspicion is that when shipping selects everything on some customer to ship from an open facility, they are accessing some records on the dead facility. I also ran an MRP regen on the dead facility and got approx 75 replanned, so there's something out there feeding into it that I have not yet tracked down, that needs closing. We are using the dead facility to store obsolete inventory, so there is a cost there associated with that inventory's history, but I thought nothing went into G/L until the inventory moved in or out.
