Kobie,
I'm not on V8 and don't have RCO.CVATNO field on V6.1.
I'm not sure CVATNO is a valid field in the RCO file.
Why are you define like field to RCO.CVATNM (A/12)?
Should you not be defining like field to CVATNO?
If a CVATNO is not a valid field in RCO file then errors your are
getting is correct.
Seems like you need to set
A W0VATNO CVATNM not A W0VATNO CVATNO

If above does not work then Press F11 from Action Subroutine
then F18=Change Sequence
then look up both W0VATNO and CVATNO
Compare and make sure they are same type
The field CVATNO may not be a available field then you'll need to add it
from Data Model.

Let me know if above worked.
Good luck!
Sonny Kim

Subject: [BPCS-L] BPCS V8.2 & AS/Set DBCS Problem.

AS/Set V8 and DBCS Problem:

I need to define a new Field: W0VATNO which I get from RCO.CVATNO (12
O).

I have tried using the following:

A W0VATNO CVATNO and then in my Field Characteristics: O 12
-
Error: "Field/Kywd field W0VATNO and the result of Action expression
must be same data"

A W0VATNO CVATNO and then in my Field Characteristics:
"Define Like" Field . . . . RCO.RCOL01.CVATNM - Error: "Field/Kywd
field W0VATNO and the result of Action expression must be same data"

Anyone that can help me assigning this DBCS tot an Alpha or Similar
workfield to put onto the report - BIL550B.

Thnx.
