Perhaps my answer not precisely on your point.
I think what you might be looking for is a transaction that does the M work not from FMA but from BOM. Other versions than 405CD might.

We have inventory in different warehouses based on item type, in which first character identifies facility.
Finished goods are made into x1 such as 21 for facility 20.
WIP warehouse is x2 such as 22
Raw materials stored in x7 stock room
Rejected waiting on inspection in x9

BPCS only supports one warehouse to consume the materials, which we have in the system parameters to come out of 22, then a modification that looks at IIM item type to update CIC.ICPLN and KFP.FWHSE to 21 for facility 20 during the MRP regen, so that released shop orders will get it right.

We have a number of circumstances where our labor and inventory reporting is not real time, because it is productive for our clerical people to do things by batch. This means that BPCS can drive some quantities negative, and in some cases, does not handle the negatives very well, so we have to do periodic cleanup.

When using a "M" Transaction to report the Shop Receipt the backflush of
materials is controlled by allocations.

I was wondering, if the material had a WH default Location, is there a
transaction which could backflush based on available inventory in the
default location and not require allocations?
