As stated in prior posts to BPCS_L
* You MUST get the APARs and PTFs that IBM provides for OS/400 or i5/OS so that BPCS will run Ok on your next OS upgrade. You do not need to be on BPCS support from SSA because this stuff is coming from IBM. * If you move from your current AS/400 iSeries box to another one, and you are not on SSA support, then at that point there is a major financial crunch to get another software key to unlock the replacement CPU serial # for BPCS to run on the next box. Typically SSA wants you to pay at least whatever you had paid for SSA support had you remained there in perpetuity.

We are on BPSC version 6.04 since July 1999 cum. We are currently
running on OS-V5R1. We are planning to move to OS V5R3, and we do not
have the BPCS Maintenance. Are there any known problems for this OS
upgrade in AS 400?

Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
