Take a look at SPECIAL LINES in Customer Orders, and also in Customer Order Type. This does not solve everything, just a start.

Regular lines, depending on order type, can have effects on some inventory type, sales totals on that item, shipping history.

But with special lines, you can charge for tooling, special setup, overtime charges, freight, and it goes into a different place in the General Ledger.

With Various Customer Order Types used for the Order that gets the special charges, you can send the info to update A/R and G/L, but not have anything to do with Inventory.

However, someone still has to enter the Transaction each month, and know when it ends.

Does this have to be through the Customer Account?
How does a company handle former employees staying on company insurance plans, in which there is monthly billing to those former employees?

Is there any way of setting up recurring A/R billings in BPCS. For
example, if we enter into a rental program with a new customer for
$150/month for 24 months... Can we set that up to bill at the beginning of
each month? I've looked through the documentation and it doesn't exist.
Has anyone been able to make this type of process work?

Thanks in advance,
