Re: AS400 new, temporary key for BPCS

Your company has made a strategic error.
Before contracting for the replacement AS/400, you should have contacted SSA GT to find out how much $ they will charge you to get key for BPCS on the replacement AS/400.
They can charge anything they like, more than the cost of the new AS/400 for example.

Then management decides whether or not to pay SSA GT for this, or to do something other than getting a replacement AS/400.

For example, there are BPCS archiving solutions that can dramatically improve BPCS performance, provided you have sufficient disk space.

Now, you may be stuck with IBM ... it may be too late to unpay for the replacement AS/400.

Hi,

I had a problem with my AS400(270). the number part arrive in a week.

IBM give me a new AS400 temporary.

But the problem, is the serie number and processor number are different that
original AS400.

I don't have OGS.

How can I get a temporary key for BPCS.

Please help me.
