Can anyone tell me how the upgrade was to V5R3?? (Assuming you can get the
license key )

We are BPCS 6.04 heavily modified mixed mode at IBM O/S level V5R2 and want to
move to V5R3. I have read IBM's PTF - V5R3 II13889 . For my application here -
it looks like I will have to take an MR from SSA to have client server work
correctly (MRMR 67665 ):

Hi Chick,

You are correct. Additionally, I will mention that if anyone will be
upgrading to V5R3 (SSA Global has announced support for this operating
system versions on the OnePoint Support website) you will need to view
Informational APAR II13889 on the IBM support website for the list of
required PTFs and BMRs.

Thanks,
