Check out DISPLAY ACTIVE BPCS JOBS and REMOTE VIEW from PRECOSIS
http://www.precosis.com.au/rv1.htm

If you WRKACTJOB or some equivalent like WRKSBSJOB QINTER
you can 5-some user session then 11 task list, and if you familiar with BPCS, you can tell ... this person is in ORD500, we not want to disrupt that

But with the PRECOSIS product you can "transmit" command keys to an abandoned session, to bring the task to a proper conclusion, saving the user's work.

This is shareware (I think it costs around $ 50 ... there was a time when I wanted to buy it out of my own pocket and put it on employer's AS/400 just to make my own life easier, but balked when (a) topic of getting permission (b) topic of me having the kind of access to download install when I was totally green screen user)
in which you get to see a screen that is like the old S/36 VSAP
then you can bring BPCS down gently without crashing anything.

We are at Version 4.0 Release 5 of BPCS. We are looking into logging off users that has no activity for 45 minutes. I don't think the AS/400 command QINACTITV is an option due to BPCS using workstation members. Has anybody tried to implement this process? If so, how did you accomplish it.
