Hi KW,

Yes, the company I consult for is a multi-site who had an audit in April,
even though they cancelled maintenance in 2002.

However, this is nothing to do with OGS it is to do with the BPCS licence
you have and how many active user profiles you have in BPCS. They look at
all environments and all sites and count user profiles not users. So if you
have users with different profiles say, one in test and one in production,
both user profiles will count. Deleting users from BPCS and SQLing them out
of the files is not enough to get around this as there are a number of
criteria used to calculate the number of BPCS users.

We do have software that can archive and clean up your user profiles -
please contact me offline if you would like more information.

Kind regards,

Sally

Subject: SSA SmartAudit being requested has anyone else got this?

> Last week SSA requested a License audit. Now this is not a problem as we
have a 50 concurrent user license and we never have more than 30 users on at
a time, but we cancelled maintenance over a year ago and we dont want to
take the time to run the reports they are requesting. Has anyone else been
asked for an audit AFTER they cancelled their maintenance agreement?
THanks KW
