Innovatum's Workflow and Data Audit software, DataThread, does exactly
what you need and more. It is generic and can be configured over any
AS/400 / iSeries database. Several companies running BPCS are now using
or plan to implement DataThread to manage workflow events.

On our web site, you can request a free trial of the software and I
would be glad to work with you to set it up.

DataThread is being featured in the September issue of eServer magazine,
and has been awarded the Honor Roll.

Best Regards
Ardi

We are looking at gee-whiz features. We would like to setup profit
center,
commodity code combinations (so purchasing can't buy supplies and charge
engineering), and also setup a matrix that controls the approval of the
requisition. And maybe use that same matrix in other BPCS apps.

Its pretty much the same in 6.1 as in 4.05. The question is can you
manage
with a simple hierarchy/spend limit system or do you need any gee-whiz
features?
