If anyone is considering moving away from BPCS, MPM II is a great
replacement for the 4.05 CD version. It is a BPCS look-alike, but does not
have lot control or container control. MPM II is installed in over 3,000
companies.

It is very inexpensive, under $60,000, and runs well on the AS/400. The
conversion is very easy, and it works well.

BPCS is gone as soon as a replacement is found.

One of the "replacements" being looked at is M$ Great Plains which would be
a SQL server type database.

I would guess that the change will be effective April 1, 2004 the start of
our fiscal year.

Thanks - Dennis.

By a show of hands, are any firms looking to actually move off of BPCS or
are the majority of you looking to stay on BPCS?

Just a quick survey.....
