        Our company, Nypro Inc., headquartered in Clinton Ma., is currently
looking for two internal Business System Consultants.  One position will be
located in Hungary, the other here in corporate.  The descriptions for both
position are approximately the same and are below.  The main difference is
the corporate position doesn't require fluency in Hungarian.  If you, or

Job Description

Job Title:              Business Systems Consultant

Summary:

The Business Systems Consultant provides direct end-user support, training,
and deployment of ERP and other systems and manufacturing methodologies.
This includes assessment of local plant manufacturing/system capabilities,
analysis of manufacturing processes, project and subject matter leadership
in the implementation of ERP applications in the local operation, and
post-implementation support and consulting.  

The BSC serves as an interface between the corporate organization and IT
efforts within the region and its local markets. The BSC is accountable for
maintaining strong local contact and site management; acting as a liaison
for critical information between the corporate organization and the Region
and its local markets; and assessing appropriate IT migration to conformance
with corporate standards and architecture.   This person will also serve as
focal communication point between Corporate IT and the local operation in
defining required system modifications, and in helping to coordinate
implementation of newly developed functionality into the local operation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide project and implementation leadership in installation and support of
the BPCS ERP application and other applications where required.


Provide both BPCS system and manufacturing subject matter (i.e.
material/inventory control, planning, logistics, etc.) consulting and
support to both end users and system developers. 

Create functional specifications for enhancements to existing functions
and/or development of new applications and functionality.

Serve as liaison between technical development staff and end users in
translation of business requirements into technical designs and
applications.

Support and/or execute system and user acceptance testing of development
projects.

Create user documentation and provide training to end users on new
applications and functionality.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have direct background
and experience in ERP concepts, and have worked with an automated ERP
application (preferably BPCS, but other packages such as SAP, Baan, Oracle,
JD Edwards, MAPICS, PRMS or others are acceptable).   In addition, the
candidate should have 3-5 years experience as a business consultant/analyst,
or relevant experience as an end user.  Broad familiarity in manufacturing,
financial, and/or plant floor subjects required.  Prior experience with
installation and support of automated system applications in one of these
areas highly preferred. 


Education and/or Education:

BS/BA or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Subject matter expertise in manufacturing and/or finance is essential. 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
Prior experience with automated, integrated ERP packages.  BPCS experience
highly preferred.
Must be fluent in both Hungarian and English.
