We have not yet settled on the vendor. We did our initial certificate test
with one of the low-cost PC solutions, but are having some trouble integrating
with our older TL version. We have not started the parallel test because that
seems to be the point of no return.

I find the idea of doing it on the AS/400 directly more appealing. Apparently
Walmart requires 24x7 availability of the AS2 communication. How do you handle
that with respect to backups?

Also, how are you handling the issue of the backup VAN? Are you automating the
use of the backup in any way?

Thanks - I appreciate the insight. Good luck with your parallel.

Take care.

We started implementing AS2 with Walmart and will begin parallel processing
next week. We use Trusted Link version 5.04. We decided to use Trailblazer
Systems' product for AS2. Thus far it has been relatively painless, although
the real test hasn't happened yet.
