Hello All,

We are on version 6.0.02 and are moving to 8.1.

We are considering to put a customized solution of part-pallet management
in following ways:

1 Modify the putaway program to look for if item being moved is non lotted
and is part-pallet (quantity being moved < item/warehouse units/pallet)
then look for those locations with status 'F' for the item being moved
only to see that if moved quantity can be putaway in that 'F' status
location or not. If yes then return location. All of our locations have
capacity of 1 'FULL' pallet.

2. Modify each of the material movement programs to consolidate the two
pallet records onto one and get rid of other pallet record.

Has anybody tried similar kind of solution? If yes can you please share
your experience with me?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Sumit Rohatgi
