Try clearing all the filters on the material status screen - that's number
one.

The MTD and YTD fields are discreet fields in several files, and are a
combination of opening balance, issues (which includes sales), adjustments
and receipts.

ILI
IWI
IIM

All have these fields. To rebuild them, BPCS starts at the location level.
Go to menu SYS, then system reorgs, then the option that rebuilds the item
master from inventory. This will, at least, make all the fields the same,
for good or bad.

When you run inventory month-end, it moves the balance (of these 4 fields)
into the 'last month' bucket and shuffles all the monthly-balance buckets
accordingly. It also updates the YTD field.

Subject: Material Status Inquiry Not Showing MTD/YTD Totals

Hi,

I have 15+ years systems administration and programming but am new to
BPCS (3 months). My company uses BPCS 4.05 CD. The Material Status
Inquiry screen (INV300) does not display the correct MTD and YTD totals
for the item. For instance, the YTD total will show 6 receipts, but
when you view the history of the item, it shows 12. What programs
update these fields and are there system parameters that can be set that
also affect the totals?

Thanks in advance!
