We on AS/400 BPCS Version V405 CD & used to be on BPCS S/36 earlier versions.

We have never been able to allocate components that do not exist.

Frequently we will be making some part that has sub-assemblies that will be
manufactured the same day, and we need to get the shop paperwork out there
for the work that will use what is manufactured an hour or so earlier.

Some BPCS programs will let us drive some values negative, while other BPCS
programs do not let us drive the same values negative.
