Sadly there seems to be a direct parallel.
Australia seems to be losing more and more manufacturing to overseas interests.
AS400/iSeries sites (mostly ERP sites) seem to be diminishing as well.
In addition to Sep 11, Australia is also in Government election mode and has
experienced the collapse of a number of major businesses, so businesses
generally are being more cautious than usual.
