I am not a programmer but I work with them regularly in support of user
problems and enhancements. Is DOC230 something that I might find useful?

From within the BPCS main menu system type DOC230 <Enter>, <Enter> at pop
up, and read the Logic Manual. This will give you a brief overview of the
system and standards that BPCS is based on. It won't give you everything
but it is a start. The other thing I did was go through the AS/SET
tutorial. After that, look at some of the BPCS programs in the repository.

I have just joined an organisation as an RPG/400 programmer. My
organisation uses BPCS system. I do not have any training or ideas as to
how BPCS works or its standards. I am on the verge of losing the job as i
am not so well versed with BPCS standards.

Could some one please help me with information on BPCS, which will help me
in understanding the system and do better programming following the BPCS
standards. ...Files used etc.

I will be highly obliged if someone responds to my issue.

Regards

sans
