Hi,
I'm having a problem today with confirming. It happens every now and then. Often enough to be familiar, but not enough to figure it out. We are on 6.0.4, mixed mode, April cum.
The user is confirming by line (ORD570*). She had done 4 - 5 successfully, when the next one just sat there. I.S. noticed a dramatic drop in response time, and the AS/400 was green lined.  She was using 89% of system resources. The program that seems to be causing the problem is BIL521B - Invoicing Tax Processing.  It will go back and forth between QDBGETKY & QDBUDR.
We end up canceling the program, just so the system loosens up.  Then we have to go back & 'fix' the files so the order will show up in billing. This involves blanking out the WSID in both BBH & BBL. Sometimes, not always, the special charge lines will be duplicated, so I need to delete the duplicate.
Has this happened to anyone else? It seems if she confirms anything today, it will get hung up. If she confirms tomorrow, it will be ok. Any ideas? Thanks.
