we had to go into the as/set code to make changes to these forms. a couple of
forms overlay vendors (optio, ics form) will make a claim that they can
rearrange the spool file an/or add data to the spool file, but they only work
with laser printers. if you have hardcopy forms, it looks like as/set. wouldn't
it me nice is ssa provided 'dummy' programs for these reports/forms and let you
put in your own custom program if you wanted to? the biggest area of
modifications that we have had to make is in the area of forms!

Now that BPCS 6 is all asset, the print file changes we have done in the
past can not be easily imported in to the asset code like we could do in
RPG source. Has anyone used / recommend another tool to modify BPCS
printouts to our desired format? We have specials forms for invoices,
checks, Bill of Lading, etc..... We have also cleaned up several of
BPCS reports.
