Re: Lean Manufacturing

Concerning the Lean solution, the situation is this:

Lean Manufacturing Process (LMP) is available today on v6101 as a GDC
product.   As a GDC product it is sold on schedule D of the Software
Licence Agreement.  It is available in English on AS/400 mixed mode,
without help text, and support needs to be by a CSS agreement rather than
OGS.

LMP will be available on v8000 as a base BPCS product with full help text,
education etc..  It will presumably be sold on schedule A of the SLA.  It
will be available in all supported national language versions, and on all
SSA platforms - AS/400 mixed mode and client/server, HP/Oracle and NT.
Support will be in terms of an OGS contract.

Helpline will not support it on v6101 unless the client has a CSS
agreement.

I was told by the Helpdesk that it would not be available until version 8.
Will it be part of the core BPCS product or an add-on like SPM - does
anyone know ?
