There is a "Solutions Management Announcement" document dated January 31, 2000
and titled "Source Code No Longer Provided for BPCS
V6.1.00 BMRs" that is available on the "Product News" page of the OGS OnLine.

It states that the RPG/400 source will no longer be provided for V6.1.00 BMRs.
It goes on to say that "This decision does not affect
customers who are using BPCS V6.0.04, V6.0.02PLf, CD, or CDE."

It is possible that they are both right.

Thank you for your support,
Mark

In a response previously posted on this mailing list, Genyphyr stated that one
does not need the Asset tool to convert the Asset source to RPG, but merely to
use the BPCS RPG command. However I received the response below from the
helpline when requesting the source for a particular program. Can someone
please clear this up for me, as there appears to be some confusion within SSA?

Rosalie,
In order to provide BMR's at the HelpLine we require the required BMR
number from the client, with use of the OGS tool to establish if not
already done so by a consultant as a result of a log closure/resolution.
Please also be aware that RPG source is not provided with V6.100 BMR's,
only asset. Therefore you will require the Asset tool to convert the
provided asset into RPG.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at the HelpLine with any further
questions/concerns.

Regards

Lorenzo Platia
SSA HelpLine Customer Service Representative.
