Thanks Chick Doe. This might be the reason because I normally keep a backup of
CMF file as part of monthend and it didn't have any duplicates. We perform the
cost roll-ups
in the beginning of the month and I think there was a moment of time we had two
cost roll ups running at the same time. Quite possibly it got duplicated at that
time.

Rao

Subject: Re: Duplicate Records in CMF

we get duplicate CMF records in version 6.04. the cause of it seems to be
related to having multiple cost roll-ups running at the same time. in our case
this was a result of having multiple configurations running simultaneously. from
our experience, you do no want multiple cost generations running at the same
time!

We are running BPCS Ver 6.02.

I am occassionally getting duplicate records in CMF file. This results in Cost
Rollup getting
into loop. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea why it happens?

Thanks in advance.
