If  you don't have QDDSSRC, you can get the field description by
1) DSPFFD
or use file utilities and command
2)  RUNQRY  *N    <Filename> RCDSLT(*YES)
3) from sql, select * from IIM -> take F4 and press F11 for field
description
4) from query/400
