I'm not sure you received the correct information about BPCS versions.  Current
versions of BPCS are BPCS v405CD (or BPCS CD), v6.1.1, v6.1.0, v6.02, v6.04.

It is possible that you have an older version of BPCS/400 or BPCS/38 or BPCS/36
that has been retrofitted for Y2K.   However, I am not aware of any BPCS release
where SSA used a naming convention like "3.12".   That actually sounds like a
version for UserVision, a report writing tool developed by the same company who
wrote BPCS (SSA).

If we can get a better definition of the actual version you are implementing,
I'm sure many in this forum can direct you to the information you requested.
