  • Subject: 1S problem in labor ticket
  • From: "Morgan, Lorri" <LMorgan@xxxxxxxxx>
  • Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2000 14:49:47 -0400

Operating System: V4R4
Version: 6.0.02
Mixed Mode
AS/400

Here is our procedure for handling the 1S in the labor posting.

1. Our manufacturing guys post labor via SFC600
2. Then they place a 9 beside the entries to post
3. CST910 is then ran
4. We then wrote a AS/400 query on the FLT file selecting the following
fields: LTSTS,LTPCEA,TTDTE,TORD,TPROD --- On the select records screen we
defined it to say TTDTE EQ (enter a date) - When we run the query, we
evaluate the display and look for any 1S. If any of the shop orders show a
1S we then go into DBU (Database Utility). Do a find and replace for the
LTSTS EQ 1S then replace it as blank (' ')
5. Enter back into SFC600 and place a 9 again beside of those shop
orders
6. Run CST910 again
7. Rerun the query. If everything is okay move on, if not do the find
and replace DBU, rerun CST910
8. If everything is okay run CST900

Again this is done with no one in this file and/or doing SFC600. Also the
thing to remember is once you run CST900 the shop orders close and are no
longer available in SFC500.

I hope this information helps.
