Amen!! Almost all of our users are now on NT. GUI is much much faster.
Users are happy campers....hardly any crashes at all. Also, SSA used to
have some 'tuning' documents out on their download web site regarding PCs
and AS400. These helped me some in setting things up.

Once you find the magic combination on a given PC......'clone it' and copy
to all the rest.

Your e-mail doesn't say what o/s your PC's are on !!

We had the same problem running BPCS 6.1 on Win 95 - posted a question here
and received quite a few good suggestions finally decided that NT
workstation was our best option. We have started to implement these
changes,
which has greatly reduced the number of crashes.

Another suggestion which was put forward was to get the OPS runtime pack -
but this did not cure the Win 95 problem.

I don't think this is a BPCS problem! Do you have the same problem while
running other applications? Assuming you are the I.S, do you get
complients from users they have this problem while running other
applications? If so,you need to look for any conflicts in the computers.
Have a look if same H.W setting are using the same IRQ resource.
