One of the plants I support is running 6.1 live. We converted from a S/36
version (running on the AS/400 in a virtual S/36 mode) last fall. We used
the S/36 conversion tools, then the 2.09 to 6.1 conversion tool. Other than
some failings in the 'facility' fields, the conversion worked just fine.
When I converted my other S/36 plant to 4.05CD, the same issue was found -
the facility fields were ignored by the conversion tools. Whether it's
something I missed, or a gap in SSA'2 code, I don't know, but if you write
some post-conversion fixes to plug the facility, everything works well.
Without the facility filled in, some strange and mysterious things go on
(just speaking from experience).

I've done it with the standard tool 'Conversion for the AS/400 V.
2.0.09-6.1.00'
delivered by SSA with BPCS and it worked fine.

Have any of you guys migrated to 6.1 already?
I heard SSA is thinking on stop the assistance to
system below the 6.1 version. Do any of you know
something about it?
