  • Subject: RE: Non related planned parts. - Clear KMR

I agree with the troubleshooting recommendations that others have given. Try
this to clean up some junk:

Clear the KMR (planned requirements file) (CLRPFM KMR) except for forecast
type records (MTYPE = F) - if using forecasts; then re-run MRP500 and MRP600 to
recreate KMR records.

I have found problems with KMR file getting corrupted and not cleaning itself
out when changing things like MPS/MRP flag in MRP140. Good Luck.

Checked:

MRP300 : no planned customer - / prodution orders
BOM220
MRP140 (data is the same as purchase items from the same supplier but for
the end item also parts from another supplier show the same increase in
planned orders).
Performed MRP500 regenerative (clear planned order fine)
Performed MRP 600 regenerative (rebuild all requirements)

Still the same result.
I can still not find the relationship between planned purchase orders vs
planned production orders.
I will investigate the related end item and give the result.
and I will check KMR file with a query.
By the way, we are running version 6.1 (latest release 27-03-1999).

Any more ideas?

Roel.
