Thanks to all,

Just wanted to let folks know how this turned out.  It helps (sometimes) if
you check OGS Online.  They had a reference to this problem.  The model for
retained earnings needs to have entries for each balancing point segment.
We had inadvertently missed this step.  Just for note:  there was no event
to check this against.  We were not able to look at a journal entry to try
and resolve the issue.  Once we started down the path of balancing point
segments (for us it is segment 1 which is company), we were able to resolve
the problem (after adding some new rules).

I find this package very frustrating to use for what should be a simple
process.  We set these models up months ago and never looked back.  I don't
think we will be able to do that.
