Question

Ever since go-live (April 1999) we have experienced poor performance in
PUR500 (Purch order release/ maint.).

The more line an order contains the longer the program takes to call the
order up when you try and maintain it, a 30 line purchase order (our
average) takes over 5 minutes to open. We generally do not have a response
problem so I assume this is something to do with either an access path /
logical / index missing, a parameter / option turned on / off that is
affecting us or just bad coding.

I have looked on OGS but have found nothing relating to poor performance in
PUR500 ? Are we the only site with this problem or does everyone else know
the answer and I am just being kept in the dark ?

Any help / ideas would be appreciated in this area.

Regards
Mark Curtis
