Martha,

What does the BIOS date on the PC show? I've never heard of the BIOS and the
OS date being out of sync, but since it's only on one workstation it seems
likely the problem is on the PC, and that's the only other date I can think
of.

Another more sarcastic theory is that COM response time is SO SLOW on the PC
that it is still yesterday in BPCS time.

As an IT professional, I cannot endorse that theory of course.

Geo.

Subject: Default dates in COM

We are 6.0.02 C/S AS/400 and Windows 95.

We have a new problem that just popped up the other day. Orders entered on
one of the clients are consistently getting default request and book dates
that are one day previous, instead of the current date. All other clients
default to the current date. Checking the settings/control panel date shows
the correct (current) date. A database refresh shows the current date. We
can, of course, override these dates with the current date, but it's a real
waste of time.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any ideas?
