Veronica,

In the PC file section of the file transfer , select details , then select
file type DIF.
You then will be able to open the file in exel, where each field will be a
column.

Subject: data transfer

Hello All

Could anyone please advise on how I transfer data down to excel from the
AS4oo using the data transfer option in client access but transferring it
down in the correct format.

ie if the as400 file has 4 fields I want the downloaded file to come down
with 4 fields rather than just throwing all the data into the first field.

Please advise

Veronica
