Does anyone have an idea why in the world V. 6.1 would require a dedicated
system and many times more capacity just run BOM900? Version 6.1 has no
architectural changes. If this is true, it should be logged as a
performance issue BMR.

By the way, I have never seen the need to run BOM900 as frequently as the
other re-org programs, such as (ORD990, SYS990, etc.), which are good to do
on a daily basis. Whenever we have converted bills of material from other
systems or manually updated the MBM file, we ran BOM900 to make sure the
internal sequence nos., and low-level codes are properly set.
