Rosalie,

We also experience this problem in V6.02. They seem to lock when the A/R or
A/P clerks exit from invoice entry or cash posting in a non-standard way.
We have installed UPS's on those PC's and that has helped reduce the
frequency of the problem. Their PC's still occasionally get locked up
during processing and they are forced to reboot, guaranteeing that the GHH
records will be locked. There is a BPCS reorg job, CEA970, that will reset
any CEF record locks.

        Subject: LOCKED RECORDS

We are running V6.04 and are currently experiencing a problem with
records
being locked in the GHH file thereby preventing them from being
posted to
CEA. This appears to be random with some records from ACR & ACP
being the
main culprit areas, and this is a new problem which has only been
happening
for the past 2 weeks. We are manually unflagging the records but I
want to
know what would cause them to lock in the first place and how to
prevent
        this. Can anyone help?
