I for one am tired of the games that are being played on this list right now
in regards to Y2K. This is not the place for vendors to get into a knock
down drag out fight. If you find it necessary to attack and berate other
list members and can't provide constructive comments then I believe I am not
alone in requesting you to cease your unproductive participation.

I too, among many other things, am a Y2K service provider and represent two
Y2K solution vendors and am embarrassed at the unprofessional conduct
expressed here. Each approach to the problem has its advantages and its
disadvantages. Either discuss things positively or just stay quiet. Save
the arguments for the courtroom councilor.

Also, BPCS customers successfully use many business enhancing pieces of
software everyday that have not been officially endorsed by SSA. I've
worked with BPCS for years and the endorsement doesn't hold a lot of water
as far as I'm concerned. I would say the same about IBM and Microsoft.
Just because you are not officially endorsed by someone does not
automatically mean your quality is bad.

By the way, as of September 22, there are 101 days to go until Jan 1 2000
(if you count December 31 as 1 day to go), not "under 100".
