Al, et al,

BPCS-L _IS NOT_, _NEVER HAS BEEN_, and _NEVER SHALL BE_ edited for content.
Vendors are indeed allowed to post solutions based upon questions asked, but
will be banned if any "extra" services are advertised in the same response.
I do not even see the responses prior to their appearance on the list, so I
could not edit content if I wanted to. I hold myself to a higher standard
than I do other vendors and did not respond to your consultant "(hint, hint)"
regarding the availability of a BPCS Versions/Compatibilities guide, despite
the fact that I had a list.

While I cannot promise not to work for a list member, as that would preclude
me from working for most of the active BPCS accounts, I _CANNOT_ seek revenue
from the list or its members or the integrity of BPCS-L would be lost. If
_ANYONE_ perceives that I am not being unbiased in my administration of this
list at _ANY_ time and wishes to spend the hours required administering it,
feel _FREE_ to contact the system administrator david@midrange.com or myself.
This list was formed to advance knowledge from users "in the field"
regarding BPCS at a time when SSA wasn't being so forthcoming with this
information. We allow differences in opinion here as long as it doesn't
involve corporate duels, and I apologize that local weather conditions have
prevented me from keeping as close an eye on things as I should have of
late...

Regards,

Dean Asmussen
