Gidday Marc
Greetings from 'downunder'.
We are very much aware that we will be amongst the 1st in the world to
experience any effects of Y2K. We have been subscribers to L-Midrange for
some months and are also 'observers' to a
BPCS Unix User Group (BUUG) based in the US.

We will probably not be able to provide the 'guinea pig' feedback to the
level being sought as our current intentions, related to the whole site, are
to shut down BPCS prior to 31 December and not to restart BPCS until approx
4 January.

FYI, our environment profile summary is as follows:

BPCS BPCS CS 6.0.02 "pld" installed as 3-tier during 1997
        Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable
Configurable Ledger Billing & Sales Analysis
                Cost Accounting Inventory Management
        Purchasing Promotions & Deals
        Configurable Order Management User Vision

Platform Profile:
Servers: 2 x HP 9000 K250 (Application & Database)
Database: Informix v7.22
OS: HP Unix v10.20
Client Workstation: P200, RAM = 64Mb, HDD = 2Gb+

Is there someone out there in BPCS land who is from
Australia or
New-Zealand. It would be nice to here from you. I'm looking
for someone that
could help our L-Midrange group on Jan 01, 2000. Since
Australia and
New-Zealand will turn over to the new millennium first, it
would be great to
here from them, if something major went amuck with BPCS.

Does anyone from L-Midrange have any contacts with
these countries?
If so, we should try to sign them up with L-Midrange

                        Thanks
                        Marc Lacelle
