Title: RE: DISAPPEARING INVOICES

Yes, I turned in the request to fix it.  The problem was with leap years and December 31.  I actual fixed the program here.  Before SSA fixed it.  Here is the letter I sent to SSA about it.

Mike Segeman:

This is regarding Incident 101-558346.

SYS903B has errors in it.  This errors was caused by BMR# 42501.

Basically the SYS903B gives inconsistency results when converting a date to days and back

The days 36525 causes date to return 99999999 with an error flag.
The date 12/31/2000 returns days 36525

The date 12/31/1996 returns days as 35064.
The days 35064 returns date 99999999 with an error flag.

I now my changes will increase the efficiency and accuracy.

All the changes I made is in the A2DAYS subroutine.

I have tested these change quite thoroughly.

Our MRP system did run into these dates.

Best Regards,
Roger Wolf
