BPCS Jobs $90,000+

I have several clients looking for candidates with BPCS experience.  At
present these manufacturers are seeking RPG Programmers ($45,000-$68,000),
Business Analysts ($75,000-$90,000) and MIS Managers ($60,000-$90,000).

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS -
This is a $1 billion Company, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, with over
40 facilities throughout North America and Europe.  This company's customers
include many of the world's largest multinational corporations. A common
thread throughout all of their businesses is differentiation through product
design and exceptional customer service. The 'Operations Manager', 'AS/400
Systems Engineer', 'AS/400 Security Engineer' and 'Systems Analyst (2)'
positions listed below are located in Richmond, VA.
Operations Manager
Manage our corporate wide consolidated data center. Responsibilities include
hiring and managing operations staff, establishing operating processes and
procedures. Operatons support activities include AS/400 machines models
S30,170, and 300 as well as AIX, and NT. Must have 4 years AS/400 operations
management experience. Familiarity with Lotus Notes, SNA, AIX, NT, WAN/LAN a
plus!

AS400 Systems Engineer
Join our expanding AS/400 staff and work on interesting and challenging
projects. Use your well-honed skills to engineer and implement Vision high
availability for JD Edwards and BPCS on AS400/S30 systems. Responsibilities
include performance tuning, backup/recovery processes, system enhancements -
all driven by corporate and production requirements. Must be able to work in
a project team environment of local and off-site specialists to complete
projects. Familiarity with JD Edwards, BPCS, VISION and ROBOT a must.
This position requires skills covering AS/400 operations in an environment
of high availability, redundant AS/400s. Identify, plan and execute
individual and team projects to expand AS/400 capabilities based on customer
requirements. Assist computer operators with significant problems. Perform
complex systems operation procedures such as PTFs. Interface with vendors of
hardware and software products to assure current configuration. Identity new
tools to expand and modernize system configuration and operations. Perform
routine and reactive system diagnostics.

AS400 Security Engineer
Growing AS/400 team needs additional staff to support expanding security
requirements. Understanding of security models and methodology are great
skills for this position. You will participate in on-going security
implementation and in the planning of future security needs. Must have
knowledge of AS/400, JDE and/or BPGS ERP security, Aqila a plus. 10 yrs exp.
AS/400 with 5 yrs. Security.
This position expands our existing security capabilities to more
aggressively achieve the integrity of our business processes and data. It
also establishes a back-up to our current AS/400 security administrator. The
position requires knowledge of AS/400 security software, implementation of
security models and methodologies, responding to requested changes in
security accesses, and development of security related procedures.
Coordination with the AS/400 team on security issues is also part of the
responsibilities of this position.

Systems Analysts (2)
We are seeking two Senior Service Desk Analysts with 3-5 years experience in
a service desk setting. Skills: NT Workstation, NT server, SMS, LAN/WAN
network troubleshooting. AS400, AIX, JD Edwards all a plus. BS/BA degree
preferred or experience equivalent.
Technical skills should include the ability to trouble shoot and resolve
(tier 3) complex problems in a multi-platform environment: extensive
experience working with Microsoft products such as Windows NT 4.0
(Workstation and Server), SMS, and Office 97: experience using Lotus Notes;
basic system operations experience with the IBM AS/400.
Non-technical skills should include the ability to effectively communicate
verbally and in writing, multi-task in a fast paced environment; good people
skills; ability to function independently or as part of a team.

MIS Manager/ RPG Programmer-Tiny AS/400 shop running BPCS in Ft. Lauderdale,
FL seeks a MIS Manager with BPCS experience.  Programming is required.  They
definitely will consider programmers who are interested in management
opportunities.  Pay scale $55,000-$70,000

Sr. Business Systems Analyst-Manufacturer HQ'd in Orlando, FL seeks
candidates with BPCS v4 implementation experience from a project management
perspective.  Pay scale $70,000-$90,000.

Programmer Analyst-Manufacturer HQ'd in Orlando, FL seeks a RPG programmer
with BPCS experience.  Pay scale $45,000-$58,000+.  This is an immediate
need.  Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
