This process works fine for us with MRP/MPS taking the planning data from the
CIC file, including the planning horizon.

My understanding is to have the system use the CIC file you must run MPS/MRP by
facility. If you run Globally the system will use the IIM file for planning
data.

Our understanding of the Schedule Horizon is that planned orders would
not be created within the horizon, but rather created just outside and
then gives an action message to expedite.

This seems to work well when the item master (IIM) is populated with
the facility planning record (CIC) blank.

Now different facilities would like to have different horizons. I
blanked the horizon in the item master and populated the facility
planning record.

Now MPS ignores the horizon totally.

Am I correct in assuming that the Schedule Horizon cannot be facility
specific in version 6.00.02 full GUI Client Server?
