It seems at one time there was an entry in the Code Master called SCMCFG or
SCMCONF where you put in a user ID then set the three boolean fields to 1 to
make a user permanently default to interactive order entry. This goes back
to GUI 6.0.02 Unix so I don't know if it is still true.

|Yet another solution is to create the order interactively, not in
|batch.
|
|From the ORD700D1 screen, press F15=User Preferences. Change the Post
|Mode field from 1 to 0. That's all there is to it. Keep in mind that
|this change in the default value is not permanent. If you exit ORD700
|and then go back, you will have to change the value again. I've
|actually modified AS/SET at one of my clients to change the default
|value from 1 to 0.
|
|Another benefit of generating an order online is that you can
|immediately edit the order once the screen comes back. If you're
|generating an order in batch, the order is locked until the batch job
|completes.
