AS/400 Mixmode V6.0.02

We have recently noticed some changes in the record id's for SIL and SIH.
WE have several records with an id of ' IX ' . We normally see the IH or
IZ id's but never have noticed the IX id's. Does anyone know what these are
and are they normal. We haven't loaded in BMR's recently and don't quiet
know what caused this.
Please advise.
