  • Subject: RE: Multiple BPCS Environments?

Let's look at this from a "business" issue. We have two BPCS
environments and over the years the two have gone in different
directions with the results that when wanting to consolidate reports we
just can't do it anymore. We ended up with different reports for
different use. We are now going to a full ERP environment for the
Corporation....and the first thing we will have to do is to bring
everything back to a single database.
The second consideration is your data warehouse environment: if you
have a good mix of apples, oranges, peanuts and nails... good luck when
trying to report consolidated data....
If you go multiple environments get ready for additional workload in IT,
a lot of it.
