The model used to close out the Net Income Accounts is very simple:  The
subsystem origin to be specified is "Retained Earnings".  If "Retained Earnings"
is not listed in the popup window, then choose "None".  (It depends on the
version you are on.) No amount macros are used.  The amount and amount macro
fields are all left blank.  The model should contain one line with the retained
earnings account to be used for each of the balancing segment values of the
book.  So for example, if company was the balancing point of the book, then
there should be one line for each company.  If there was only one company, there
would only be one line.

A retained earnings event would then need to be created that references the
retained earnings model.
