But in order to use cron or Tivoli,
I need to know how to run a program from the "command line",
e.g. what is the environment,parameters etc...
and I'm working full client/server...

Control scripts and cron, I think, Unix was a long time ago.

else Tivoli has a scheduling suite that should run on HP-Unix
